about
I call myself a Spiritual Coach because I believe there is hidden wisdom and sacred support behind our every struggle — mental, emotional, physical, vocational, relational, financial, and of course, spiritual.
To sit with you as you reconnect with your sacredness; and honor your full humanity.
My approach first and foremost is that I see you as the supreme source of your wisdom, creativity and resilience. My work as a coach is to hold space for you to dig deep into these resources, and remind you of them along the way. I don’t give advice; I bear witness. I keep pointing you back to your inner voice that knows best what you need and want so that you can live an awakened life.
My medicine is an alchemy of sass, smarts, sensitivity and strength (and I am addicted to alliteration). My superpowers are:
· asking powerful, reflective questions;
· identifying personal patterns/behaviors/stories that no longer serve you;
· illuminating your inner-life so that you can glean its buried wounds and wisdom;
· acknowledging your strengths and gifts when you forget or can’t see them yourself;
· residing in the present moment, and in particular, paying attention to body’s wisdom;
· holding you accountable to your dreams, values and purpose.
I am well-educated and well-experienced to journey this path with you. I hold a Masters of Divinity degree and a graduate certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching (from the first acupuncture school in the U.S., grounded in Taoist philosophy). Recently I completed a Certificate for Internal Family Systems (IFS) as a Model for Spiritual Companions. However, what gives me my true credibility is my integrity. I’ve walked the soul journey — through the depths of darkness and back, and back again. I am not afraid. I will not judge. Your rage, your tears, your fear, your shame. It’s all welcomed here.
I am deeply committed to our personal and collective well-being. I do this soul work because I know we’re all interconnected. When one person heals, we all heal. I’ve traveled to Nepal, South Sudan, and India, and danced with women who have overcome unspeakable oppression. I carry within me their empowering stories and insight in how we forgive the unforgiveable, and find freedom within ourselves. Global transformation leads to self-transformation; and self-transformation leads to global transformation. Your soul work benefits the whole.
Based out of Los Angeles County in La Verne, California. I hike local trails, always eager for a road trip to bask in the mountains, desert or ocean, and love to explore ghost towns and other forgotten landscapes with my beloved partner and 16-year old son.
